Aisling Jelinski is a visual artist from Minnesota, now living in the small Irish village of Ballyvaughan. Primarily working in ink painting and printmaking, with some oil painting thrown in for good measure, Aisling is currently attending Burren College of Art for her Master of Fine Arts. Her research into the uncanny and (dis)embodiment is inspired by Classical sculpture, anatomical studies, and mythology. She likes to hoard trivia with the hopes she can make connections between seemingly unconnected information through her art. Aisling is also a co-founder of artlessBastard, an art gallery in De Pere, Wisconsin with the goal of showcasing local talent while bringing both national and international art to the Fox Valley.

Aisling would like to thank the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation for their financial support as she begins her MFA studies.
